If you consider the density of water = 1 (otherwise you can’t solve the problem) you have a total mass of 30 g of which 10 g are sugar and 20 g are water. Therefore the calculation is easy:

% (w/w) of sugar = 10x100/30 = 33.33…%

% (w/w) of water = 20x100/30 = 66.66…%
