Lyndon B. Johnson was born in Stonewall, Texas, in the United States of America.

He was a high school teacher at schools in Cotulla, Pearsall, and Houston, Texas, before he entered government service.  He worked as a Congressional aide, and then later was himself elected to the US House of Representatives.

Lyndon Johnson went on to become Vice-President under John F. Kennedy.  After Kennedy was assassinated, Johnson became the 36th President of the United States.  He served as President from 1963 to 1969.
