In the early 1960s, the group called Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) was formed to build support for sit-ins and other nonviolent protests. The SNCC legacy is to destroy the mental chains that restrain the black people in psychological and physical slavery. The SNCC facilitated in breakage of the chains forever. It is proven that ordinary people can perform surprising works.
