The slope is basically the gradient of the line which is m in the equation y=mx+c

rearrange the equation given so it is in the form y=mx+c

4x - 2y = 5
(-5) (-5)

4x -5 -2y = 0
(+2y) (+2y)

2y = 4x - 5
(÷2) (÷2)

y = 2x - 2.5

so here m = 2

therefore the answer is E
