What linear expression would you add to -4y + 2 to have a sum of y?

Let
LE-----------> represent the linear expression

we have that
[-4y + 2 ]+LE=y
LE=y-[-4y+2]-------------> LE=y+4y-2-----------> LE=5y-2

the answer is 
the linear expression is (5y-2)
