Paul needs 2 1/4 yards of fabric to make a tablecloth. How many tablecloths can he make from 18.5 yards of fabric?

2 1/4 = 2.25
18.5 ÷ 2.25 = 8.22

Since he can't make 0.22 of a tablecloth,
the answer is

8 tablecloths
