Most countries are becoming more repressive. Even the United States considered the bastion of democratic freedom is moving more and more to the right and becoming less free. It is a huge concern for many left wing groups who suspect the right instead of cooperating, each contributing the best of what they have for the betterment of all. The struggle with Trump is a good example.
