Two professors in the mathematics building have offices that are consecutive odd numbers with a sum of 15,044. what are the office numbers of these two professors?

Let one of the number be x
The other number will be x + 2

x + x + 2 = 15044
2x + 2 = 15044
2x = 15044 -2
2x = 15042
x = 7521
x + 2 = 7521 + 2 = 7523

The office number is 7521 and 7523
