blood will change in thickness due to temperature outside of the body, if it is really hot out side a lot of the time, then your blood will thin, if you live somewhere cold your blood will thicken to keep your body warm.

in animals that are cold blooded their blood constantly changes due to the outside temperature so they never get cold or overheated, example sharks or pretty much any sea creature
