-The dehydration process occurs when we lose water from a molecule.
So,
The unbalanced equation of the dehydration of manganese sulfate pentahydrate is:
                         Δ
MnSO4.5H2O→ MnSO4 + H2O

So we have to balance it by adding 5 in H2O side to be:

MnSO4.5H2O⇒ MnSO4 + 5H2O (This is the balanced equation)
