What is the value of the expression x + (–y) when x = –2.3 and y = –5.9?

x + (-y) = -2.3 + ( - (-5.9) ) = -2.3 + 5.9 = 3.6

x=-2,3
y=-5,9
-2,3-(-5,9)=-2,3+5,9=3,6
