Since, we are given

two fractions have a common denominator of 8

It is only saying about denominator

so, numerator can be anything

so, there will be many possible fraction of which common denominator is 8

We can take an example

[tex] \frac{1}{8} [/tex] and [tex] \frac{3}{8} [/tex]

There can be many more fractions

we can take any two

so,

[tex] \frac{1}{8} [/tex] and [tex] \frac{3}{8} [/tex]...............Answer
