what is the solution of system of equations y=2x - 3.5 and x - 2y=-14

Use substitution...
x-2(2x-3.5)=-14
x-4x+7=-14
-3x=-21
x=7

Plug in x into one of the equations to get y...
y=2(7)-3.5
y=10.5

(7,10.5)
