If you are trying to solve for x, then the first thing you should do would be to subtract .36x from both sides to get -3.6 = 0.69x + 0.01.
Next, subtract 0.01 from both sides to get -3.61 = 0.69x.
Lastly, divide each side by 0.69 to get the final answer of -5.232 = x.
Hope this helps!
