set a y equation or x equation
x-2y=3
x= 2y+3
plug in the x equation to the other equation
4x-8y=12
4 (2y+3)-8y=12
8y + 12 -8y=12
0=0?? I think this means y=0
plug in the y value to the x equation
x= 2 (0) +3
x= 3
points (3,0)
