Solve the equation for k. 2mk+2j/2=n+p

Assuming that you have typed 2j/2 correctly, reduce this to j.

Then 2mk + j = n + p
Solving for k:

          2mk = n + p - j

                       n+p-j
               k = ---------- (answer)
