f(x) = -3/4x + 2.........f(1/2)....this is basically saying that x = 1/2...so sub in 1/2 for x

f(1/2) = -3/4(1/2) + 2
f(1/2) = -3/8 + 2
f(1/2) = -3/8 + 16/8
f(1/2) = 13/8 <==
