How is social Darwinism tied to imperialism?

It's tied to it because it's tied to the idea that if a nation is conquering another nation and it successfully conquers it, then this is a part of the idea of natural selection where a stronger nation will rule over a weaker one because they are more adapted to their environment and stronger as well.
