The government usually determine the suitability of individuals to be employed as civil servants by putting them through series of tests. People seeking to become civil servants are usually put through academic written papers and an interview. They may also be put through qualifying tests which typically last for three days and an interview. The type of test use will depend on the nature of work that will be done by the people that are employed.
