First convert 4 feet to inches.
4*12=48

So your ratio is 1:48, which means the actual airplane is 48 times longer than the drawing.
5*48=240 inches

The actual airplane is 240 inches, or 20 feet long.

1 inch must be multiplied by 5 to give you 5 inches. So, you also multiply 4ft by 5 to give you 20ft. The actual airplane is 20ft long
