Going from (-2,5) to (3,8), x increases by 5 and y increases by 3.  Thus, the slope of the line passing thru these two points is  m = rise / run = 3/5.

Hi there! :)

Step-by-step explanation:

[tex]SLOPE=\frac{Y_2-Y_1}{X_2-X_1}=\frac{RISE}{RUN}[/tex]

[tex]\frac{5-8}{(-2)-3}=\frac{-3}{-5}=\frac{3}{5}[/tex]

Slope is 3/5.

Final answer is 3/5.

Hope this helps!

Have a nice day! :)

:D

Thank you!
