The the probability of finding a certain card depends on how many cards you have in total.

a picture card would be a Jack, Queen or King.

 there are 4 of each so a total of 12 picture cards.

 there is 52 cards in a standard deck

 so you have a 12/52 reduced to 3/13 probability of picking one
