Okay the answer is....... The Sunni and Shiite are two sects from the Islam religion!
I believe the answer is: Islam
The main difference between the two factions exist in the philosophy in choosing their leaders. The sunni believed that every persons had the potential to become leaders as long as they do not violate the principles of Islam, while the Shiite believed that only the descendants of Muhammad had the right to become leaders in their society.
