The length of a rectangle is 5cm more than its width. The perimeter of the rectangle is 46cm. Find the width and the length

length= x+5
width= x
perimeter= 46 cm
2(x+5)+2x=46
2x+10+2x=46
4x=36
x= 9
The width is 9 cm and the length is 14 cm.
