Greetings!

"What is the value of m in the equation:[tex]3+4m=15-2m[/tex]?"...

Solve using the properties of equality:
Add 2m to both sides.
[tex](3+4m)+2m=(15-2m)+2m[/tex]
Add -3 to both sides.
[tex]((3+4m)+2m)+(-3)=((15-2m)+2m)+(-3)[/tex]
Simplify.
[tex]6m=12[/tex]
Divide both sides by 6.
[tex](6m)/6=(12)/6[/tex]
Simplify.
[tex]m=12/6[/tex]
[tex]m=2[/tex]

Hope this helps.
