Four quarters are .066 thick
20 nickels are 1.48 thick
So your answer is 1.21 inches thicker or about 1 1/4 thicker

1.95 x 20 = 39.
1.75 x 4 = 7.

So, 20 nickels equal a dollar, and 4 quarters equal a dollar. Multiply the amount by the thickness. The nickels are 32 mm thicker than the quarters.
