8 days because you multiply 1/10 x 8 = 8/10 after you simplify it you get 4/5 Hope it helped

He runs   4/5 mile in x days


then cross multiply will solve this problem ;)

[tex] \frac{1}{10}*x = \frac{4}{5}*1 \\~\\x=4*10/5=8[/tex]


so it will take 8 days to run 4/5 mile.
