TOTAL AREA: ?? answers- A -520 in², B- 220 in², C-300 in², D-345 in² please help i know its easy but i cant seem to find it each time i get more than 520
Start at the bottom left corner. Move vertically upward until reaching the neighboring corner. Then draw a horizontal line to subdivide this figure into a rectangle down below and a trapezoid up top.
rectangle area = length*width = 25*12 = 300 square inches.
trapezoid area = height*(base1+base2)/2 = 11*(25+15)/2 = 220 square inches.
