If a line has a slope of 2 and contains the point (-2, 1), what is its equation in point-slope form?

Point slope form is y-y1= m(x-x1) where m is slope and y1 and x1 are the x and y of the coordinate given.

y-1= 2(x-(-2))
y-1= 2(x+2)

Final answer: y-1= 2(x+2)
