My sister is 1414 years older than i am. the sum of our ages is 5252. find our ages.

let sister age =s
my age =m
s=m+1414
s+m=5252

putting value of s

m+1414+m=5252
2m=5252-1414
2m=3838
so my age=1919

s=m+1414
s=1919+1414
s=3333
so sister age =3333
