Aunt Mary is 6 times as old as Jane. If Aunt Mary is 72 years old, how old is Jane?

6x =Aunt Mary's age

6x = 72
x = 72/6
x = 12  years [Jane]

Jane is 12 years old.

Because if Mary is 6 times older than just divide her age by 6. Which is 12.

And you can check like this:
-Jane is 12
-Mary is 6 times that
-so Mary is 72
