We know that: ( h, k ) = ( 3 , 2 ) and that vertex formula is:y = a ( x - h ) + kSo:  y = a ( x - 3 )² + 2 And since: ( x, y ) = ( 10, 1 )1 = a ( 10 - 3 )² + 21 = a · 7² + 21 - 2 = 49 a- 1 = 49 aa = -1/49Answer:y = -1/49·( x - 3 )² + 2
