That all depends where the ball happens to be.  Wherever it is,
it weighs (7 kg) times (the acceleration of gravity in that place).

-- On Mars, it weighs (7 kg) x (3.711 m/s²) = 25.977 newtons = 5.84 pounds

-- On the moon, it weighs (7 kg) x (1.623 m/s²) = 11.361 newtons = 2.55 pounds

-- On Earth, it weighs (7 kg) x (9.807 m/s²) = 68.649 newtons = 15.43 pounds
