(x1, y1) = (-1, -3)
(x2, y2) = (2, 0)

Slope = [tex] \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1} [/tex]
Slope = [tex] \frac{0+3}{2+1} [/tex]
Slope = [tex] \frac{3}{3} [/tex]
Slope = 1

The slope of the line passing the point (-1,-3) with an x-intercept of 2 is 1.
