we know that

[tex]FI=FG+GH+HI[/tex]

solve for GH

[tex]GH=FI-(FG+HI)[/tex]

we have

[tex]FI=7\ units\\FG=2\ units\\HI=1\ units[/tex]

substitute in the formula above

[tex]GH=7-(2+1)[/tex]

[tex]GH=7-3[/tex]

[tex]GH=4\ units[/tex]

therefore

the answer is

[tex]GH=4\ units[/tex]
