8    96

Cross Multiply

8 * m = 96 * 5
8m = 480
m = 480
         8
m = 60

                           m/96  =  5/8

Multiply each side by  96 .

Then you will have  m = 480/8 .

This is the true value of 'm', but you may want to simplify it
