What was Okonkwo point of view in 'When Things Fall Apart' and how did he develop through the story?

Okonkwo greatly struggles with the changes taken place in his tribe. Before the 'white man' came and started changing a lot of the aspects of his tribe he was considered a valued member and even THE strongest huntsman in his tribe. He believes that his other tribesmen have become weak and insignificant.
