Writing the formula of cos theeta = Base / Hypotenuse
Base = 11
Hypotenuse = x
theeta = 24

cos(24) = 11/x
As cos 24 = 0.42417
0.42417 = 11/x
By cross multiplication
x = 11/0.42417
x = 25.93
by rounding it to nearest tenth
x = 26
