Explanation:

There are a few explanations as to why. I'm not sure as to what level of an explanation you are looking for. A person's body is made of atoms, which have constant motion due to multiple processes. An atom can never ever be frozen to absolute zero motion, we can only approach that value. Therefore, we will always have kinetic energy. Another explanation is Einstein's famous formula E = mc^2. This is the rest mass energy, which all things with mass obey. There is an energy-mass equivalence.
