There are various biomes in North America that contain conifers. The largest one is the northern coniferous forest biome. It covers across all of northern Canada and into interior Alaska. Also, there is the temperate coniferous forest biomes which covers the coastal regions west of Rocky Mountains in US and Canada. It is special in that its temperature is more temperate (warmer) than most other coniferous forest biomes.
