  • AB=4
  • BC=10

Use Pythagorean theorem

[tex]\\ \rm\longmapsto AC^2=4^2+10^2=16+100=116[/tex]

[tex]\\ \rm\longmapsto AC=10.77[/tex]

  • cos20=0.94

  • BC/AC=10/10.77=0.91

Not satisfied (Close but we can't ignore 0.03)

Let required BC be x

[tex]\\ \rm\longmapsto \dfrac{x}{10.77}=cos20[/tex]

[tex]\\ \rm\longmapsto x=0.94(10.77)=10.124ft[/tex]

Camera should be shifted 0.124ft left
