Hi!

We know that it flies 1000 kilometers per hour. It's traveling at a constant speed, so that means that it will

always

be traveling at that speed.

To know how far it flies in 3 1/2 hours, we multiply 1000 by 3 1/2

[tex]1000 * 3\frac{1}{2}[/tex]

[tex]3500[/tex]

Therefore, it flies 3500 kilometers in 3 1/2 hours.
