How do I figure 5/8 - (-7/8)= It needs to be in the simplest form and a fraction. Thank you

- 1/4

because 5/8 can't subtract 7/8 it is going to have to go in negatives to -2/8

Now 2/8=25 so 1/4 is the lowest form for 25 is 1/4 but were in negatives so - 1/4
