The world polar usually means that something is in the south, or cold.

So this usually means that they are artic animals. Cuircumpolar animals are animals that live in the cold ecosystems. These ecosystems include

  1. Snow biomes
  2. Taiga forests
  3. Alaska
  4. Canada
  5. Scandinavian
  6. Siberia

Note:( 3-6 are all examples if taiga forests)

Such animals as

  1. Polar bear
  2. Artic fox
  3. penguin
  4. reindeer
  5. snowy owl
  6. Weddell seal
