The slope is positive, hence the endpoints are diagonals

The slope of a line

Given the endpoints  of a segment (10,3) and (20,17). To determine whether they are diagonal segments, we will find the slope of the coordinate

  • Slope = y2-y1/x2-x1

Substitute the coordinates into the formula

Slope = 17-3/20-10
Slope = 14/10

Slope = 1.4

Hence since the slope is positive, hence the endpoints are diagonals
