A rectangle is 7 feet long by 5 feet wide.
If 3 feet are removed from the length of the rect
would be the area, in square feet, of the new rectangle

The answer is actually 25 feet!! Here’s why:
subtract 3 feet from 7 feet
7ft-3ft= 4ft
Your new length is 4ft. Now find the area. (Length times width)
4 multiplied by 5= 25 sq feet
