How did Camp Buckner get its name? What is it used for?

It got its name “camp bunker” because its named in honor of Buckner: Fort Buckner, an Army sub-post of the Marine Corps' Camp Foster on Okinawa, is home to the 78th Signal Battalion and E Co.
