Step-by-step explanation:

the total area of circles =

(2 × π × 1²) + (3 × π × 0.5²)

= (2π) + ( 3× 0.25×π)

= 2π + 0.75π

= 2.75π

assume π=3.14

so, the total area =

2.75 × 3.14 = 8.635
