⇒ y = [tex]\sqrt{25}[/tex]

We know that : 5² = 25 and also (-5)² = 25

⇒ y = [tex]\sf{\sqrt{(5)^2} \ \text(or) \ \sqrt{(-5)^2}}[/tex]

⇒ y = +5 or -5
