How do you find the slope and Y-intercept

y=3x+1

The slope is always what's infront of the x which is 3 and the y-intercept is what's always at the end which is 1.

The slope is the coefficient of x which is 3
The y-intercept is the point  where the line crosses on the y -axis is 1
